It is unknown at this time if stem cells will be able to save lives, cure Parkinson’s Disease, re-grow a new heart valve, or help politicians to grow a conscience. We are unsure what stem cells research really will be able to do. But the British website, Daily Mail (thanks to Dave Barry's Blog), breaks this exciting news about stem cells in their post: Stem cell technique helps women grow their own implants. That is right. The first big break through for stem cells is a more natural looking breast implant. According to the article, this should become a normal part of breast implants within five years. If this news would have bared its chest...ummm... I mean head sooner, I am sure most politicians would be lining up to show their support for stem cell research.
These have been a few simple thoughts of my complex mind.
